A Little Hatchling

I found a baby Ringneck Snake hiding behind my guitar hero guitar tonight… and I saw another mouse, but that’s besides the point. You people probably think my apartment is disgusting, but it’s actually immaculate. I just cleaned everything today. I dusted, vacuumed, and wiped the whole place down with disinfecting wipes… maybe that’s why all of these creatures are appearing in the night, they can’t stand the cleanliness. I just got this device you plug into your wall and emits a high frequency that is apparently unbearable for mice and other animals that can hear it. The box it came in says that they will find it very annoying and just up and leave, perhaps that’s what’s happening. I live in Great Falls, Virginia, I’m pretty out in the woods and about a mile from the Potomac, so maybe it just has to do with the fact that I’m encroaching upon the natural habitat of my unwanted guests. Anyhow back to Baby Eve, my new pet snake. She’s really small, about six inches long, I think she’s a hatchling, which leads me to believe that there was a nest of eggs somewhere around the warmth of my home and there will soon be more Baby Eves slithering around. My huge dilemma is that I want to keep it, I had pet snakes when I was kid, but unfortunately I have to leave in the morning for our upcoming shows and I don’t have time to build a snake habitat, oh well. I tried holding Baby Eve and she’s a bit snappy, she’s probably just pissed off that I put her in a glass. I guess I’ll let her go. I’m really afraid that I’m going to come home after this weekend and find a raccoon or a wolf in my house. Does anyone know if Kelly Clarkson likes snakes? Maybe I’ll give her Baby Eve as a present.
