Stop This Train
I feel like there hasn’t been enough time on our current tour. I don’t know where all of the time is going, but I don’t like it. I’ve been consistently tired, it’s either a lack of sleep due to a lack of time, or the fact that I didn’t bring any melatonin with me so I’m not sleeping as deeply. Whatever, who am I to complain. The shows on this tour are just going later than the shows on our previous tours, and I’ve been getting to bed by 2AM and waking up early for radio promo and other media stuff. This summer is definitely flying by way to fast, I wish I could have a double dose of time.
It’s been really cool touring with Ace and Kenny. I used to listen to the Starting Line and Early November when I was seventeen, and that was seven years ago. It’s so weird now touring with artists that I used to listen to all the time when I was younger. All of the bands on this tour are really awesome, the nicest group of guys. It’s been a lot of fun and everyone puts on one hell of a show every night.
The video for “Say So” should be premiering on Friends Or Enemies sometime very soon. It looks really great, I can’t wait for everyone to see it, I’m very proud of it. Zach Merck and our whole team did a great job. I’m already looking forward to our next video for “Bigger Than Love”, it’s probably going to be a while before we shoot that, but I’ve got some great ideas.
Our tour with The Cab begins in a week. That’s crazy, I didn’t realize it was that soon. That tour is going to be so much fun, I can’t wait. I’ve never been to Vegas, I think I’m going to save my per diems for the month of July and try my luck at a few of the Casinos.
On another note I don’t think I can ever eat at Denny’s again.
